Uploading Your Web Site via FTP
Upon purchasng hosting services with E-Wiz Solutions, you may immediately begin uploading pages for your Web Site using your new FTP Account:

Alternative FTP Site: If your Web Site is being transferred to the E-Wiz server or your website name has just been registered, you may upload your site by logging in with your user name and password.

Your username and password were provided to you upon signing up for hosting services. If you have lost or forgotten your FTP username and password, please contact E-Wiz Solutions and it will be provided upon verification of your identity.

For your convenience, a custom homepage with a contact form is included with your site to allow your visitors to begin contacting you immediately via the e-mail address you signed up with.  Your customers will receive an immediate follow-up message that simply states that their request is currently being processed.


Your FTP Account - Web Site Directory Structure (as illustrated):
/pages (Directory for storing all your web pages including index.html)
/images (Directory for storing images)
/cgi-bin (Directory for storing CGI scripts)
/logs (Logging information regarding your web site)

NOTE: We strongly recommend the use of FTP software which can be used for uploading files, changing file permissions, creating directories, deleting files, renaming files, etc... The most widely used package is for managing your site is WS FTP PRO which can be purchased for about $55 Or you can purchase WS FTP HOME for about $40.

NOTE: YOU MAY CREATE AS MANY DIRECTORIES AND/OR FILES AS YOU WISH, HOWEVER, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO (DELETE OR MODIFY) ANY ORIGINAL FILES AND/OR DIRECTORIES INCLUDED WITH YOUR HOSTING ACCOUNT.  THOSE THAT FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES WILL HAVE THERE HOSTED ACCOUNT TERMINATED WITHOUT NOTICE.  E-WIZ SOLUTIONS KEEPS A CLOSE EYE ON DEVELOPMENT PRACTICES UTILIZED BY EACH HOSTED ACCOUNT AND HAS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR THOSE WHO TRY TO UNDERMIND REQUIRED FEATURES AND/OR ATTEMPT TO COMPROMISE THE INTEGRITY OF ANY SERVICES PROVIDED.
